Choose X Brain if
- The posts you want back are ones you liked, not bookmarked, and you want the whole history imported and searchable at once.
- Twitter/X is what you’re organizing, not a general read-later habit.
- You want Claude able to search your saved posts, and a one-time price rather than a subscription.
Choose Readwise Reader if
- You already read articles, newsletters, and PDFs through Readwise and want a few tweets folded into that same pipeline.
- Best-in-class Obsidian, Notion, or Roam sync matters more to you than Twitter-specific depth.
- You save posts on X by bookmarking them, and want those bookmarks, old and new, kept in sync.
