Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using X Brain, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

X Brain lets you upload your X/Twitter data archive to search, classify, and extract knowledge from your liked and bookmarked tweets using AI, and optionally to search your library from Claude through an MCP token you create. You may provide your own AI provider API keys; otherwise processing runs on X Brain's own keys, subject to the usage limits listed in section 5 (API Keys).

3. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

4. Your Data

  • You retain ownership of all data you upload.
  • You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.
  • You can export or delete your data at any time.
  • See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

5. API Keys

  • If you have not added a key, X Brain processes your archive with its own AI provider keys. That use is subject to fair-use limits (currently 10,000 AI-generated takeaways per account, a daily allowance per account, and a shared daily budget) which we may change or withdraw at any time. The per-account limit is not reset by replacing an upload or deleting your data.
  • If you add your own keys, you are responsible for any costs incurred through them.
  • We encrypt your keys at rest and only use them to process your data.
  • We are not responsible for charges from your AI provider.

6. Payments

  • X Brain is a one-time purchase. Pricing is listed on the Pricing page.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: request a refund within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. A full refund ends access to paid features.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload data you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service.
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

X Brain is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your data (tweets, uploads, API keys, MCP tokens, daily search counts and share link) at any time from Settings using "Delete All Data." This is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting your data does not delete your account itself; you can still sign back in afterward. To delete your account as well, email us at the address below.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the country where X Brain's operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
  • If you use X Brain as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Nothing in these terms, including section 8, limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.
  • Before starting any formal claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it. Most issues, including refunds, are settled within a few days.
